APSIPA promotes education and capacity building in signal and information processing by supporting learning activities, educational resources, and institutional collaboration across the Asia‑Pacific region and beyond.
Many APSIPA educational activities are conducted in conjunction with the APSIPA Annual Summit and Conference (ASC), including tutorials, invited talks, and educational sessions, providing members with access to high‑quality learning opportunities. Other educational activities we will organize include distinguished lecturer program, summer school, etc.
The APSIPA Distinguished Lecturer (DL) Program is a key educational initiative of the Association, aimed at promoting the dissemination of high quality knowledge and expertise in signal and information processing across the APSIPA community.
Through the program, internationally recognized experts are invited to deliver lectures at APSIPA events, chapters, and affiliated institutions, covering both fundamental and emerging research topics.
APSIPA members are eligible to be nominated as Distinguished Lecturers, and APSIPA Chapters and institutions may invite Distinguished Lecturers to deliver talks and educational activities.
The APSIPA Distinguished Lecturer Program, as well as other APSIPA educational and outreach activities, are administered under the Vice President – Institutional Relations and Education Program (IRE).
